Community Outreach
Giving back to our community locally and globally is a part of our mission.
Community Sponsorship
Care Fresno was started by the Fresno Police Department in 1995, which collaborated with church and faith-based leaders to help address the crime and poverty affecting our youth and their families. Today Care Fresno has been able to serve over 15,000 at-risk youth and their families through mentoring and leadership. We are a proud partner of Care Fresno and continue to serve this organization by attending events and provide meals at Camp Calvin Crest.
Fresno Pacific University is the Valley’s only accredited Christian university, connecting every student’s untapped potential with unlimited opportunity for professional, personal and ethical growth. The Gerald “Gerry” Thiesen Annual Business Scholarship was established in 2018 by Joshua and Brandy Thiesen to encourage the pursuit of academia for entrepreneurship in the Central Valley.

Community volunteerism
Hinds Hospice provides comfort care and support to those who are at their end of life journey. They offer in-home care and grief support for those suffering and rely heavily on donations, gifts and those who visit their thrift stores.
As a team, we are proud to serve Hinds Hospice by continuing to volunteer at one of their local thrift stores.
The Central California Community Food Bank fights against hunger by gathering and distributing food to those within our local community. Last year 5,914 volunteers helped to sort and hand out food.
The GC Roofing team has sorted potatoes and oranges along with other various food items in preparation for distribution. We have also helped to distribute bags and boxes of food directly. We continue to join our local food bank in the fight against hunger.
international impact
Trades of Hope is committed to keeping families together. They are actively involved in helping women in impoverished communities around the world. These women are forced to give up their children to orphanages to avoid starvation or send them off, unknowingly placing them into human trafficking. GC Roofing is honored to have partnered with this organization three years in a row to provide funding for special projects in Uganda, Guatemala, Jordan, and India.
